After 2 years of virtual events, it was great to finally see all our electoral customers in person at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham.

The Conference is a mix of plenary sessions with expert speakers and practical workshops with accredited trainers. It brings together everyone from the UK Electoral Industry and gives Versapak the opportunity to learn about the challenges faced when organising secure elections on tight budgets.

As well as the workshops, the organisers also arrange a raffle; the exhibitors donate prizes, and all the proceeds go to charity. This year’s event raised £4,060 for Parkinson’s UK.

On the Versapak stand, back by popular demand was our reusable, tamper evident ballot box which is always the main talking point for us. This year we took along a new addition to our ballot box range, our mini version. Already being used by organisations to collect votes in AGM and other small meetings, it has the same great features of our standard ballot box, but the dimensions are 260 x 300 x 150mm making it much smaller than the others in the range.
